From military bases to detention centers for foreigners, from the exploitation of labor to the blackmail of emigration, from the tourist invasion to the fate imposed as an energy hub, from toxic waste dumps to extra-luxury resorts, southern Italy increasingly appears as an internal frontier where the reasons for war appear more concrete and the contradictions of capitalism more strident. Although distant and fragmented, there are many realities in southern Italy that oppose it, fielding more or less structured forms of struggle. We believe it is useful and urgent to connect these struggles, building a bridge over this Mediterranean sea that separates us and unites us with other frontiers.
